Teachers, parents &
adult chaperones are the same price as the group. Teachers
may get in free if they have registered in advance for the
IMAX Educator's Club and received their 2009-2010
FREE Educator Annual Pass. Registration information is
found below. |

School group rates are
offered to groups of 15 or more. Groups must pay in one
single payment, the day of the reservation. |

Tax not included in
prices above. Schools are tax exempt, with proof of
exemption. |

Advance reservations are
strongly recommended for school groups. For more information or to

Assigned seating
is provided in both the 2D and 3D auditoriums. Late seating is not
permitted. Please plan to arrive at
least 20-30 minutes prior to show time. This will give you and your
students ample time to get your seating assignments and find your seats.

The IMAX Educators' Resource Guides are developed
to enhance
your curriculum and provide thoughtful topics for
discussion
along with exercises and hands-on group projects.
By clicking on one of the film titles below, you
will be
directly linked to that film's Educator Resource
Guide web
page.
You may then download the information and print out guides
for your and your class. Please be patient, sometimes it
takes a
while to download them.

School Bus Drop Off and Parking
Buses may load and unload
curbside at the IMAX Theatre--right next to Morton's Steak House and
The Menger Hotel.
Parents & chaperones may park in the Rivercenter
Mall parking garage and bring their parking ticket to the IMAX to get
validated for 3 hours free with IMAX ticket purchase
The City of San Antonio provides FREE parking for
school buses at the following places -
On Crockett Street, east of 281-IH 37, between Live
Oak and Cherry, free 4 hour parking at "Special Event
Meters."
Alamodome, parking lot 'A' (IH 37&
Durango) hours of operation for free school and tour bus
parking are from 7am to 7pm weekdays and weekends. Bus Parking
is not available at the Alamodome during event days. To ensure
available parking reservations are required by calling Alamodome Security
during the hours of 6a to 10p at (210) 207-3680. Bus drivers
are asked to provide cell phone numbers for emergency or contact
purposes.
There is school bus parking available at the corner
of Crockett and Bowie Streets, right down the street from the IMAX
Theatre and Menger Hotel. Parking is approximately $25 per bus. The IMAX Theatre is not responsible for bus parking
and we do not set the price. Please call Central Parking at (210)
225-3973 if you have questions concerning school bus parking.
